Injecting a fluid, comprises injecting at least one fluid by changing power ratio across a valve piston (5) of a valve cylinder (2), resulting from a closing pressure and a switching pressure exerted by at least one fluid, which is injected. A closing force resulting from at least the closing pressure acts on the valve piston in a closing direction towards a closed position and the switching force resulting from at least the switching pressure acts on the valve piston in one switching direction which is oriented towards an open position. Injecting a fluid, comprises injecting at least one fluid by changing power ratio across a valve piston (5) of a valve cylinder (2), resulting from a closing pressure and a switching pressure exerted by at least one fluid, which is injected. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device for injecting the fluid, comprising a valve cylinder having a first end (3) and a second end (4), a valve piston, which is displaceably connected between the first and second end of the valve cylinder, a switching opening on the valve cylinder, which is directed towards the valve piston, a pressure opening at the second end of the valve cylinder, and an outlet opening at the first end of the valve cylinder, where the closing force resulting from at least the closing pressure acts on the valve piston in a closing direction towards a closed position, in which the valve piston is spaced on outlet opening and the switching force resulting from at least the switching pressure acts on the valve piston in one switching direction, which is oriented towards an open position in which the valve piston is spaced on outlet opening, and by a corresponding change in a power ratio across the valve piston of the valve cylinder, resulting from the closing pressure and the switching pressure, the valve piston between the pressure opening and the outlet opening can be moved such that the valve piston can be brought into the open position or into the closed position; (2) a mixing vessel for foodstuffs, comprising a bottom, where at least one device (1) for injecting a fluid is arranged on the bottom; and (3) a snow tube for generating snow comprising a device for injecting a fluid.
