A shelf support comprises a vertical wall rail 1 having a longitudinal slot 4 formed between inturned flanges 6 at its front and provided with teeth 7 on the inner face of its rear wall, and a bracket 2 mounted at any selected height on the rail 1, the bracket 2 having an elongate upper attachment 3, which engages behind the flanges 6 after being passed through the slot 4 with its longitudinal axis vertical and then rotated through 90 degrees, and a lower abutment portion 5 having teeth 8 which mesh with the rail teeth 7 to support the load on the bracket 2. Preferably the lower end of the bracket 2 is slotted, as at 12, to permit flexing of resilient legs 13, 14 to allow passage of the latter through the slot 6 on assembly. Slots 15, 16 on the abutment 5 engage the flanges 6. |
