1,007,003. Mine floors; ploughing up equipment. A. OLLERICH [Trading as MASCHINENFABRIK UND EISENGIESSEREI A. BEIEN]. Sept. 27, 1962 [Nov. 27, 1961], No. 36778/62. Heading E1F. The floor of a mine drift is deepened by ploughing up from and over a predetermined length of the floor transversely successive strips of the floor by one or more planing units 3 drawn to and fro along said part of the floor by suitable haulage means 10, the units having at the leading lower edge loosening tools from behind which extend pick up surfaces that convey ripped up floor material to a conveyer 6 by which the material is discharged laterally of the plough into mine cars or onto a drift conveyer. The loosening tools are preferably of a percussive type that become effective on slip movement occurring between a planing unit and the haulage run of the haulage means, the haulage run at the planing unit passing about a pulley arrangement on the plough and drivingly connected to the percussive means. The idle run of the haulage means in passing about a further arrangement in the plough causes on movement of the plough operation of the conveyer 6. The or each planing unit may move along a guide rail extending through the drift.
|
