PURPOSE: A user interface providing method using a flexible display and a mobile terminal using the same are provided to apply various sensations to user interfaces of various applications using a flexible display. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(140) measures the bending direction and unbending acceleration of a flexible display unit. A controller(180) controls screen display of the flexible display unit corresponding to the bending direction and unbending acceleration. The controller changes the location of an image which is displayed on the flexible display unit and displays the changed location. The controller displays images adjacently when the bending direction is a first direction. The controller displays the image separately when the bending direction is a second direction.
