PURPOSE: Artificial rock and a method for manufacturing the artificial rock are provided to improve the firmness of the artificial rock and to reduce the weight of the artificial rock. CONSTITUTION: Artificial rock includes a base member(10), an urethane-foam layer(11), a weight member(12), an artificial rock member(1), an urethane coating layer, an aqueous binder layer, a surface layer(17), and a color layer(18). The height of the base member is constant, and the upper side of the base member is opened. The inner side of the base member is filled with the urethane-foam layer. The weight member is arranged on the upper side of the urethane-foam layer. The artificial rock member includes a piece and an adhesive member. The piece is obtained by dividing Styrofoam and urethane-foam. The adhesive member bonds the contact part of the piece. The urethane coating layer is applied on the outer side of the artificial rock part. The aqueous binder layer is applied on the urethane coating layer. |
