摘要 PURPOSE: 9% Ni steel submerged arc welding material and method are provided to ensure good bead appearance by the stabilizing and the smoothing of a bead shape by the increase of the solidifying temperature of slag. CONSTITUTION: A 9% Ni steel submerged arc welding material consists of submerged arc welding wire, and submerged arc welding sintering-flux. The wire contains Ni of 60 mass %. The flux contains Al2O3 of 15~40 mass %, SiO2 of 5~35 mass %, ZrO2 of 5~25 mass %, MgO of 5~25 mass %, CaCO3 of 5~25 mass %, Metal of 1~7 mass %, Fe, Na2O, and inevitable impurities. For the flux, the CaF2 is controlled to be less than 5 mass %. The flux contains metal of 0.1~5 mass %. The submerged arc welding is performed in a vertical welding position.
