To provide a wireless communication system, a mobile station apparatus and a base station apparatus which reduce a resource overhead in the transmission of an aperiodic SRS, and are not accompanied with a major change from the specification of the LTE. The wireless communication system includes the base station apparatus and the mobile station apparatus transmitting a data signal to the base station apparatus by SC-FDMA (Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) system, and the mobile station apparatus transmits a reference signal for channel measurement to the base station apparatus, and the reference signal for channel measurement is transmitted using a channel for data transmission allocated for each of the mobile station apparatuses from the base station apparatus.
