The Locking device has a two-armed locking structure (35) for holding a bobbin case (3) in a gripper (1). A spring (23) is provided for ejecting the bobbin case from the gripper. The two-armed locking structure is mounted on slot-shaped opening (29) provided in bobbin case. A latching leg having a hook-shaped end, is intended to inserted into a recess (13) on a bobbin core (9) in gripper when the bobbin case is inserted into the gripper against the force of the spring.
