摘要 The present invention includes a method and apparatus to correct for gradient field distortions in moving table MR imaging. The invention includes acquiring MR data (208) during table motion in the presence of gradient non-linearities, transforming sub-portions of the MR data acquired into the image domain (214,216,218), and then applying a warping correction function (220) to the transformed MR data. The warp-corrected MR data is then corrected for the table motion induced during the MR acquisition (222,224). The data may be acquired and processed point-by-point, line-by-line, or in other sub-portions, to minimize the amount of motion correction needed. After correcting for motion, the data is accumulated to build up a final image (226).
