<p>The machine has a drum (1) with an inner chamber (7) for receiving laundry. A drive (8) rotates the drum around a horizontal rotational axis (4). Ribs (10) are arranged at the drum and form rib chambers (21) connected with the inner chamber via outlet openings (22). The machine is designed to supply water to the inner chamber via the rib chambers and the openings. A retaining device (12) is arranged at a front side (11) of the drum and connected with the rib chambers. An injection device (13) introduces water into the retaining device for introducing water into the rib and the inner chambers.</p> |
