Automotive rear-view monitoring method and apparatus using WiFi camera and smartphone application

摘要

PURPOSE: A back camera function realization method for a vehicle and apparatus thereof are provided to realize cheaply and effectively functions by executing an application related to a smart phone including a Wi-Fi function. CONSTITUTION: A camera unit(21) acquires a back image of a vehicle by being installed at a back side of the vehicle. A wireless communication unit(22) transmits a back image signal through a Wi-Fi network by packetizing the back image signal to a compressed data stream. An operation determination unit(23) determines the transmission of back image information by determining the process state of the vehicle. A smart phone(27) executes high speed data communication with the wireless communication unit by searching a Wi-Fi signal according to the operation of a smartphone back camera application.
