PURPOSE: A steel-plate hydrogen permeation testing device is provided to obtain images more clear and certain by irradiating lights and to minimize test measuring errors. CONSTITUTION: A steel-plate hydrogen permeation testing device comprises a lower cell(20), a distilled water feed part, an upper cell(30), a moving up-and-down unit, an electrolyte feed part, a specimen feed part(50), an images analyzing part, and a specimen removing part(60). The inner side of the lower cell is filled with distilled water and a specimen is placed on the upper part of the lower cell. The distilled water feed part supplies the distilled water to the lower cell. The upper cell is arranged in the upper part of the lower cell and electrolyzes sulfuric acid solution by a direct current power supply, thereby forcibly supplying hydrogen to a surface of a steel plate. The moving up-and-down unit vertically moves the upper cell, thereby adhering to a specimen. The electrolyte feed part supplies electrolyte to the upper cell. The specimen feed part supplies the specimen to the lower cell. The image analyzing part observes a trace of hydrogen bubbles generated after the hydrogen absorbed from the upper cell is penetrated toward the opposite side of the steel plate and analyzes observation signals, thereby evaluating a hydrogen permeation time.
