PURPOSE: A steam generator and a mold temperature controlling system using the same are provided to generate steam by using a wet electronic heater and to immediately supply the generated steam to a used place. CONSTITUTION: A steam generator comprises a cylindrical pressure vessel(3), an electronic heater(11), a water supplying unit, a steam discharging unit. A length(L) of the pressure vessel is longer than a diameter(D) of the pressure vessel. The electronic heater penetrates a lateral late of the pressure vessel, thereby being installed in a traverse direction in the lower part of the pressure vessel. The water supplying unit senses a water level inside the pressure vessel and supplies water according to the sensing result. The steam discharging unit is installed in the upper part of the pressure vessel, thereby discharging steam. |
