PURPOSE: A vertical-axis wind turbine having plural wind blades aligned in one central axis and alternately rotated in an opposite direction is provided to utilize low-speed scattering wind by applying the rotational power of a different size gear rotated in an opposite direction to a wind turbine axis-gear. CONSTITUTION: A vertical-axis wind turbine comprises two groups of vertical-axis wind blades, and a gear. The two groups of vertical-axis wind blades are rotated in an opposite direction, and installed in one rotary center axis. Two different gears have an opposite rotational direction. Rotational power generated from the two groups of vertical-axis wind blades is applied to a wind turbine axis gear, and electricity is generated.
