PURPOSE: A foam molding method and an apparatus thereof are provided to manufacture foamed articles having a high quality surface condition and high intensity by rapidly mixing while a melted resin and a foaming agent are passed through pores of an opened cell structure in a porous member at high speed. CONSTITUTION: A foam molding apparatus comprises a nozzle(22), a porous member(40), a melted resin feeding unit, and a foaming agent feeding unit. The porous member has pores of an opened cell structure installed in the upper side of the nozzle. The melted resin feeding unit feeds melted resin(R) to the porous member. The foaming agent feeding unit feeds a foaming agent(E) to the porous member. The melted resin feeding unit and the foaming agent feeding unit simultaneously feed the melted resin and the foaming agent to the porous member. While the melted resin and the foaming agent are simultaneously passed through the porous member, both are mixed. |
