PURPOSE: A gas-liquid separating apparatus is provided to efficiently separate gas and liquid by introducing polluted liquid to be treated based on laminar flow into a gas-liquid separating tank. CONSTITUTION: A gas-liquid separating apparatus includes a gas-liquid separating tank(10), a heat exchanger(20), and a heat media supplying tank(30). Liquid to be treated is heated at the heat exchanger which is separated from the gas-liquid separating tank. The heated liquid is introduced into the gas-liquid separating tank through the supplying line(27) of the heat exchanger. The heated liquid is introduced into a standing heating pipe(25) embedded in the heat exchanging tank of the heat exchanger. Vaporized heat media is in contact with the outer side of the standing heating pipe. A cover is arranged at the upper side of the heat exchanging tank. The lower part of the supplying line is along the outer circumference of the solid-liquid separating tank.
