PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically controlling meandering of strips is provided to simply regulate meandering of a strip because a support roll is automatically rotated by the variation of a friction force against the strip. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically controlling meandering of strips comprises a fixed frame(100), a titling frame(200), and a support roll(300). A bearing block(110) is installed in the central part of the fixed frame and has an open-top bearing hole. The tilting frame is arranged on the top of the fixed frame and has a rotary shaft which is installed in the center thereof and projected downward to be inserted in the bearing hole and rotate freely and fixing brackets(220) which are installed on both ends thereof. The support roll is installed in the fixing brackets of the tilting frame and allowed to rotate.
