PURPOSE: An apparatus for locking an access door of a railway vehicle is provided to facilitate installation and has small volume although serving as controlling fixed locations of the access door. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for locking an access door of a railway vehicle comprises a feed shaft(100), a body(200), a holder(300), a fixing body(400), a first latch(600), and a second latch(700). The feed shaft has an access door for opening and closing an access opening of a railway vehicle, and has a pair of fixing grooves(110) and a pair of hanging grooves(120). The body is installed in the access opening corresponding to the feed shaft and has an insertion hole(210) inserting the feed shaft and a through-hole(220) penetrating the feed shaft inserted into the insertion hole. The holder is formed of a hollow shape that covers the exterior circumference of the feed shaft, and has an installation hole(310) and first and second rotation guide saw-teeth(320,330). The installation hole is moved and rotated with respect to the feed shaft by reciprocating motion in order to correspond to the fixing grooves or the hanging grooves. The first and second rotation guide saw-teeth are obliquely formed in directions opposite to each other. The fixing body is installed inside the installation hole of the holder. The fixing body is selectively inserted into the fixing grooves or the hanging grooves in order to fix the feed shaft in the holder. The first and second latches are respectively installed in the through-hole inside the body and the end portion of the through-hold, and have third and fourth rotation guide saw-teeth(610,710) respectively. The third and fourth rotation guide saw-teeth are successively engaged with the first and second rotation guide saw-teeth according to moved the holder, and guides that the holder rotates. |
