A display screen in a panel in a vehicle interior 2, in particular a dashÂboard 3 or central console 4, is mounted so it is pivotable in the panel. The display screen can be switched over from a display mode into an illumination mode. Preferably a switch is provided for switching the screen between modes, the switch preferably being a location sensor or an actuating element. The colour of the display may be switched over in the illumination mode. The display screen may, in one location, be positioned as a closure flap 7 for an opening of a storage compartment 5. Also claimed are a motor vehicle having such a display screen and a motor vehicle having a display screen acting as a closure flap. |
