PURPOSE: An interceptor for a ship is provided to improve structural stability of an interceptor and to reduce resistance of a ship with the interceptor. CONSTITUTION: An interceptor for a ship(20) is attached to the lower part of a transom stern structure of a ship having the transom stern structure, and comprises a top surface(21), a rear surface(23), and a resistance surface(25). The top surface is fixed in the lower part of the transom stern structure. The rear surface is toward a stern of the ship. The resistance surface connects the top surface and the rear surface, and is formed into an arc shape. An intersecting angle meeting a tangent line of the resistance surface and a parallel line at the lower part of the transom stern structure is gradually declined from the front end of the resistance surface facing a stem of the ship to the rear end of the resistance surface facing the stern of the ship.
