PURPOSE: An air purifier with a filter exchanging informing function is provided to verify a filter exchanging timing by using the amount of discharged air, the load amount of an alternating current(AC) motor, and the operating time of the AC motor. CONSTITUTION: A filter(140) purifies air sucked in a body part. An air blowing fan(132) discharges purified air through the filter into an indoor place. An air volume measuring unit(160) measures the volume of air discharged through a discharging hole. An AC motor(150) rotates the blowing fan. A load measuring unit(165) measures the load amount of the AC motor. A controlling unit(180) sets the load amount of the AC motor such that the measured volume of air is in a pre-set range. A displaying unit(190) is further prepared to display whether a filter is exchanged.
