PURPOSE: A parking brake is provided to improve assembling efficiency through assembling an equalizer and a cable by a simple manipulation for vertically pushing the end portion of the cable. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake comprises an equalizer(10), a pair of lefts and right cables(20, 30), and a cable positioner(50). The equalizer is coupled with a parking cable pulled by the operation of a parking lever. The pair of lefts and right cables is connected to the equalizer through a cable end(40). The pair of lefts and right cables distributes operating force for parking to vehicle wheels. The cable positioner is installed in the equalizer and offsets the position of the cable end.
