<p>A method for subscription service in an IP multimedia subsystem is disclosed. The session border controller (SBC) establishes IP channel between SBC and IMS terminal, and between SBC and resource list server RLS after receiving the state subscription request message of multimedia subsystem IMS terminal. RLS sends the state information and confirmation message to the IMS terminal via IP channel after finding the subscribed state information for the IMS terminal. A system for subscription service in an IP multimedia subsystem network is also disclosed. The IP channel established with the solution for transmitting the subscription information on RLS, not only has greater quantity of transmission information, but also has higher efficiency of transmission information, as long as the IMS terminal supports the process capability of IP package.</p> |
