PURPOSE: An urgent brake device for a ship is provided to safely control a ship by installing a braking plate capable of vertically lifting at a stern part of the ship. CONSTITUTION: An urgent brake device for a ship comprises a brake plate(110), guide rails(120), a lifting device(130). The brake plate is installed in a stern part of a ship to be lifted upward and downward so that braking force can be activated at the stern part of the ship. The guide rails are installed in the stern part of the ship to rail-couple both side ends of the brake plate. The lifting device connects the brake plate with wires to vertically tow. |
