PURPOSE: A vector for transforming E.coli for preparing agelanxanthin A is provided to highly obtain agelanxanthin A in E.coli. CONSTITUTION: A vector for transformation of E.coli contains beta-carotene desaturase(CrtU) gene of sequence number 5 and beta-carotene hydroxylase(CrtZ) gene of sequence number 6. The vector additionally contains geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase(CrtE) gene of sequence number 1, phytoene synthase(CrtB) gene of sequence number 2, phytoene desaturase(CrtI) gene of sequence number 3, or lycopene cyclase(CrtYcYd) gene of sequence number 4.
