PURPOSE: A torsion-guided trailing arm is provided to improve the riding quality and handling performance of a CTBA(Coupled Torsion Beam Axle) by reducing road noise through absorbing the road noise by allowing distorsion. CONSTITUTION: A torsion-guided trailing arm(2) is coupled in the both sides of a torsion beam(1) of a CTBA. The trailing arm comprises a torsion guide unit(10). One side of a torsion guide unit is fixed in a mounting bracket(3) of the trailing arm coupled with a vehicle body and the opposite side is fixed in the inner part of the trailing arm. The torsion guide unit guides the torsion of the trailing arm while the trailing arm is moved upward and downward. |
