An electrode assembly is provided to show the performance and safety equal to a conventional stack / folding type electrode assembly and to ensure excellent operation performance and safety even in the long-term use. An electrode assembly is interposed with successive separation film sheets to a part where a plurality of electrochemical cells as a basic unit of an anode/separation film/cathode structure are overlapped. A unit electrode(200) surrounded with a separation film sheet is positioned at a central part which is a winding starting point(101) among the overlapped electrochemical cells. The full cells(201,202,203,204) positioned at the top and bottom of the unit electrode has an electrode direction of a symmetrical structure.
