HAPTIC FEEDBACK ASSISTED TEXT MANIPULATION

PURPOSE: A haptic feedback supporting text operation is provided to facilitate text operation by integrating haptic feedback effects based on content of a text in response to a gesture of a user. CONSTITUTION: A memory is connected to a processor(22) and stores commands. A touch screen(24) is connected to the processor. An actuator(26) is connected to the processor. The apparatus displays the text and senses touch within the text. The touch determines operation of the text. The kind of a haptic event is generated by the actuator.
