PURPOSE: A coin counting and packing machine is provided to sort bad coins or coins except for selected coins before counting because discharge of the coins can be controlled according to the diameter and height of the coins. CONSTITUTION: A coin counting and packing machine comprises a coin insert part(11), a money type selecting and counting part(10), a coin holder(20), a blocking member(30), a packing and transferring part(40), and a coin packing part(60). Coins inserted into the coin insert part are sorted in the money type selecting and counting part. The sorted coins are passed through the coin holder and are piled up the blocking member. The packing and transferring part receives power of a main power motor. If the coins are placed on a coin placing portion(51) moving to the lower part of the blocking member by the rotation of a cam(50) of the packing and transferring part, the coin packing part packs each unit quantity with a packing paper.
