<p>PURPOSE: A device for preventing fall of a heavy object is provided to stop the wire of a rotation control unit unwinding when a heavy object fast falls due to cutting of a wire connected to the heavy object. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing fall of a heavy object comprises both frame plates(110), a wire drum(120), a driving shaft, a rotation control unit(200) and a steel-sheet spring(300). The frame plates are fixed by a plurality of bolts(111), facing each other. The wire drum can rotate on the central part of the frame plate and wire(121) is wound on the outer circumferential surface of the wire drum. The driving shaft is inserted through the central part of the wire drum and rotates according to the rotation of the wire drum. As a heavy object falls fast from the wire, the rotation control unit controls the rotation of the wire drum.</p> |
