PURPOSE: A touch screen apparatus and display apparatus using the same are provided to simplify complex circuit configuration and to solve reduction problems for the performance of a capacitance measurement circuit by preventing the reduction of detection accuracy in a circuit. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel(110) is composed of plural capacitors. Multiplexers(111,112) provides a channel selecting function in order to sense multi-channel touch signals from the touch panel. A comparing unit(130) compares a phase change difference between operating signals applied from the multiplexers to the touch panel. The comparing unit detects the phase change difference.
