METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING LOCATION USING ACCESS POINT

PURPOSE: A location measurement method using an AP(Access Point) for local communication and apparatus thereof are provided to measure the location of a communication terminal by using the information of the AP including a small service range. CONSTITUTION: A positioning server firstly selects an AP including facility coordinates of adjacent APs received from a positioning target mobile terminal(S801). The positioning measurement server secondly selects APs including big signal strengths of the other adjacent APs(S803). The positioning measurement server extracts the location coordinates of the selected APs from an access point information DB(Data Base)(S805). The location measurement server calculates a final location coordinates by using a centroid method(S807).
