METHOD FOR SONOGRAPHIC DIAGNOSTICS OF INSTABILITY OF SHOULDER JOINT

The method for sonographic diagnostics of instability of the shoulder joint comprises the ultrasonic visualization of the boundaries of the joint followed by the computed image processing. The joint is scanned in posterior projection at longitudinal and traverse position of the probe while the shoulder is rotated. The size of the impression of the head of humerus and the state of the articular capsule are assessed.
