PURPOSE: An air conditioner for an automobile is provided to heat the discharged air from a shower duct through installing an electric heater close to a shower duct connected with a floor vent. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for an automobile comprises an air conditioner case(10), a plurality of mode doors, and an electric heater(H). An evaporator and a heater core is installed in the air conditioner case and a defrost vent(12a), a face vent(12b), and floor vents(12c, 12d). The mode door opens and closes each vent. The electric heater heat exchanges the air discharged from a shower duct(40).
