PURPOSE: An advertisement reproducing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to receive content through a broadcasting network and an IP network. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(110) receives a second file. The second file includes information about an address of a first file. The first file includes metadata of advertisement content which is inserted AV content. The receiving unit receives the first file based on the address of the first file. A reproducing unit(120) reproduces the advertisement content to the AV content based on the metadata of the advertisement content.
