PURPOSE: A pallet moving apparatus for an APC(Automatic Pallet Changer) is provided to transfer a pallet to a long stroke distance by unfolding the pallet at two stages in a narrow space. CONSTITUTION: A pallet moving apparatus for an APC(A) comprises a supporter unit(100), a middle feeder unit(200), a top feeder unit(300), and first and second chains(250a,250b). The middle feeder unit is arranged in the upper part of the supporter unit and is glided along the supporter unit by power of a servo motor(104) of the supporter unit. The top feeder unit is glided along the middle feeder unit and a hook(20) for pushing and pulling a pallet is installed in one end of the top feeder unit. One end of the first chain is fixed in the supporter unit and the other end thereof is fixed in the top feeder unit. When the middle feeder unit moves forward, the first chain moves forward the top feeder unit. One end of the second chain is fixed in the supporter unit and the other end thereof is fixed in the top feeder unit. When the middle feeder unit moves backward, the second chain moves backward the top feeder unit. |
