PURPOSE: A method for preventing a discharge of a vehicle battery is provided to prevent the discharge of the vehicle battery by starting the vehicle according to an amount of battery discharge. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether an amount of battery discharge is proper(S100). An excessive amount of discharge is alarmed(S200). An amount of oil is measured in a vehicle(S310). A brake condition of the vehicle is sensed(S320). If a brake is on, the starting of a vehicle is on(S330). The charging completion of a battery is sensed(S400). The starting of the vehicle is off(S500).
