The present invention relates to vehicles, in particular to the designs of car pneumatic tires with a shielding layer of textile cords and methods for manufacture thereof. The technical result achieved by realization of the totality of essential features consists in: high stability of a belt for high-speed tires due to possibility of using a shielding layer of threads of any required rigidity; reducing the weight of the tire by reducing the weight of the rubber compound used in an amount of 150- depending on the tire size; improving the homogeneity of the finished product (reducing power and geometric heterogeneity of tire); reduction of operating temperature of a belt-tread zone by reducing the thickness (gauge); reduction of losses in rolling and fuel consumption by reducing the weight of rubber of tread section of tire; simplification of the process of manufacturing the shielding layer of tires due to use of the ready to be used material on an assembly machine thus excluding the operations of rubberizing and pre-cutting of rubber-cord material. A pneumatic tire includes a shielding layer of belt made with compound of unruberrized textile material being adhesive to uncured rubber, the threads of warp of which are made of twisted single strands and connected at the intersections with the threads of weft by a twisting thread. A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire comprises application of compound being adhesive to uncured on a cord fabric made of textile material, the warp threads of which are made of twisted single strands and connected at the intersections with the threads of weft by the twisting thread, arrangement of unruberrized cord fabric on the upper layer of the tire belt by winding cord fabric, arrangement on unruberrized cord fabric of workpiece of the tire tread and vulcanization. |
