FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for electrochemical purification of drinking water has a reactor 1 in which a pack of electrodes lies over its bottom, said pack of electrodes consisting of cathodes and at least one soluble anode, and a power supply 2, whose outputs are connected to the pack of electrodes. Side clearances of the pack of electrodes are closed by interelectrode spacers made from dielectric material in form of a solid strip with grooves for holding the electrodes. The cathodes are in form of a rectangular structure with continuous lines of side edges and a solid frontal surface. ^ EFFECT: high efficiency of purifying water owing to high rate of purification, improved physical-chemical and organoleptic properties of said water and simple design of the device. ^ 3 cl, 5 dwg |
