The interface has a support case (60-2), and a housing defined for a communication terminal (30). A cover (60-3) maintains the terminal in the housing. The cover and the case comprise a hinge unit for allowing the cover to pass from a closed position to an intermediate position and vice versa by a translation movement relative to the support case. The terminal is not covered in the intermediate position, and the terminal is unable to come out of housing entirely. The cover is passed from the intermediate position to an open position and vice versa by a rotational movement (82) of the cover.
