The method involves positioning an integrated circuit (10) within an air gap (7) between aligned arms i.e. upper arm or probe (1) and lower arm (3), where an electromagnetic field of a test system is created between the arms. An electromagnetic field is created within the integrated circuit by a test system, and a magnitude representing a state of the integrated circuit is measured. The measured magnitude is analyzed for deducing diagnosis of electromagnetic susceptibility of the circuit. The electromagnetic field is transmitted at a frequency ranging between 1 megahertz and 100 gigahertz. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an integrated circuit (2) a test system of electromagnetic susceptibility of integrated circuit.
