PURPOSE: A pre-swirl stator having a duct and a method for fixing a duct are provided to maximize propelling efficiency of a ship through an eccentric arrangement for optimal joint between ducts by varying incident angles of fluid flowing into a propeller. CONSTITUTION: A pre-swirl stator having a duct comprises a duct(16) and a supporting structure. The duct is joined with a free end of the pre-swirl stator. The supporting structure fixes the duct to a hull. The center of the duct is eccentric from a center(X) of a propeller(12) to a right upward facing from a stern part to a stem part. The supporting structure comprises an upper supporting structure(18a) and a lower supporting structure. The upper supporting structure connects the upper outer surface of the duct and the lower part of the hull. The lower supporting structure connects the lower inner surface of the duct and the lower part of a stern boss part.
