PURPOSE: A folding roof device and a vehicle equipped with the same is provided to deform a tensile member elastically and fold a convertible top frame regardless of comprising of a convertible top cover. CONSTITUTION: A folding roof device comprises a roof frame(20), a convertible top frame(14), and a convertible top cover(12). The convertible top frame comprises one or more elastic variable tensile members(31-34). The convertible top frame is composed to be folded. The elastic variable tensile members are deformed elastically during the convertible top frame being folded. The convertible top cover is installed in the convertible top frame to be detached or fixed constantly.
