<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a wire grid polarizing plate with stable quality which has a low defect in terms of optical performance and high quality, can be made into a lightweight and large area wire grid polarizing plate because of having excellent flexibility, has excellent processability and reliability, and can also be subjected to a secondary processing including deformation due to heating. <P>SOLUTION: In the wire grid polarizing plate which includes a base material which is a polycarbonate resin film, a resin film which is formed on the base material and has a thickness in a range of 0.005 μm to 3 μm, and a metal wire formed on the resin film, the wire grid polarizing plate can be bent with a curvature radius of 10 cm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
