<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>crystalline glass eith high transparency which hardly becomes turbid in white even when formed by, for example, float molding, and Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>crystallized glass obtained by crystallizing the Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed the Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O-Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>-SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>crystalline glass which is characterized by having a glass composition that contains, in mass%, 55-75% of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 19-24% of Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 3-4% of Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, 1.5-2.8% of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 3.8-4.8% of TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>+ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and 0.1-0.5% of SnO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, while satisfying the following relation: 4≤Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O+0.741 MgO+0.367 ZnO≤4.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
