<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering device that regulates rotation of a steering shaft at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A steering shaft 6 inserted in a housing 5 has a first end 61, second end 62, and an intermediate section 63. A first bushing 71 and a second bushing 72 held by the housing support the first and second ends 61 and 62 of the steering shaft 6, respectively, in axial directions X1 and X2 in a slidable manner. A central axial line C3 of the intermediate part 63 is offset by a predetermined amount e from a central axial line C1 of the first end 61 and a central axial line C2 of the second end 62. A central axial line C4 of a ball nut 33 is aligned with the central axial line C3 of the intermediate part 63.
