<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive composition for an electrophotographic apparatus, the composition capable of reducing a volume resistivity and improving environmental dependence of the volume resistivity in the case of using an ion conductor, and to provide a conductive member for an electrophotographic apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive composition contains: (a) a matrix polymer; (b) any one or two or more kinds of ion conductors among (b1) a quaternary ammonium salt having an alkyl group having 4 or more carbon atoms, (b2) a quaternary phosphonium salt having an alkyl group having 4 or more carbon atoms and (b3) an imidazolium salt; and (c) a carbonate compound.
