<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for driving a liquid crystal display panel in which the number of source lines is larger than the number of the lines of pixel electrodes by one and the lines of pixel electrodes are arranged between the source lines, the driving device being able to prevent a central potential output terminal among a plurality of potential output terminals from being connected to the source lines. <P>SOLUTION: A D-A converter 66 is connected to an output switching part 67. At this time, potential output terminals D<SB POS="POST">a</SB>and D<SB POS="POST">a+b</SB>are connected to input terminals I<SB POS="POST">a</SB>and I<SB POS="POST">a+b</SB>via switches 72 and 76, respectively. When a control signal POL<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is at a high level, the switch 72 connects a first terminal 73 to a second terminal 74. When it is at a low level, the switch 72 connects the first terminal 73 to a third terminal 75. The switch 76 does the same as the switch 72. In addition, when the POL<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is at a high level, an input terminal I<SB POS="POST">k</SB>is connected to an output terminal O<SB POS="POST">k</SB>, and when the POL<SB POS="POST">2</SB>is at a low level, the input terminal I<SB POS="POST">k</SB>is connected to an output terminal O<SB POS="POST">k+1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
