<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer container for containing a plate-like body such as a glass substrate in a horizontal state, the transfer container being capable of preventing crack damage inside a base part of a side wall even when a strong force is applied to the side wall of a container body due to vibration, drop impact or the like, thereby achieving excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer container includes an opening-upward container body 1 rectangular in plan view. On a peripheral edge part along a side wall inner face, of an upper face 13a of a bottom 13 of the container body 1, a recessed part 15 for avoiding of abutting on the bottom 13, of a peripheral edge of the plate-like body B contained on the bottom 13, wherein a bottom surface 15a on the outer peripheral edge side, of the recessed part 15 continues an inner surface of a side wall 14d via a circular-arc-shaped curved surface which avoids stress concentration when the bottom surface 15a on the outer peripheral edge side, of the recessed part 15 deforms outside the side wall 14d elastically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
