<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer container for containing a plate-like body such as a glass substrate in a horizontal state, the transfer container being capable of well protecting corners of the plate-like body from vibration, drop impact or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer container includes an opening-upward container body 1 rectangular in plan view. At each of four corners of an inner side wall surface of a containing portion 15 of the container body 1, a cutout space 16 as a recess at corner formed being expanded from the inner side wall surface is prepared to install a reinforcing member 20 with a rigidity higher than that of the container body 1 along an inner surface of a corner vicinity area 17 from an inner surface surrounding the cutout space 16 to lengthwise and breadthwise inner side wall surface parts 14a, 14b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
